Torq MTB | Participation Waiver & Release of Liability

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that mountain biking is an inherently dangerous sport. Participating in a Torq MTB ride event involves risks, including but not limited to: physical exertion, equipment failure, unpredictable terrain, weather conditions, and collisions with other riders, pedestrians, or vehicles. I acknowledge that these risks can result in serious injury or death.

Assumption of Risk

I agree that I am riding entirely at my own risk. I am responsible for maintaining my equipment and ensuring I am physically capable of completing the ride. I choose to participate voluntarily and fully assume all risks associated with this activity.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Torq MTB, its owners, employees, and ride leaders from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising out of my participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Safety Gear

I agree to wear a functional, industry-standard helmet at all times during the ride.
